- Normal Leg: Perfect for customers up to 1.72 m, landing stylishly on your foot or shoe with inseam of 78 cm.
- Long leg: Ideal for those over 1.73 m until -1.78 m. with inseam of 84 cm.
- If you are less tall than 1,60 or taller than 1.78, please let us know and we can make you a custom made pair with shorter or extra long legs.

These excellent pair of thick Black cotton lycra flares are just a perfect basic to have in your wardrobe. We have been making these since 1994 and they will always stay in our basic collection. This style is made with our medium high waist with elasticated waistband. If you prefer the super high waist, please check out our Flares collection.

These flared pants are made from the highest quality cotton spandex from Bali, Indonesia. Their mix of 90% cotton and 10% spandex gives this material a soft 4-way stretch without getting loose around the knees or bum, wear after wear. They are perfect to wear all day, every day and are also ideal for wearing in your yoga or pilates class.

At Funky Simplicity, we believe in flattering every shape, so our bootleg leggings come with a medium-high or high waist style, and in a longer leg length if required.
This style is also available in any of our trend-setting prints, perfect for festival clothing. Please ask for details, we would love to hear from you.

Our flares are made in a thick cotton lycra 90% 10% - the same quality as our leggings, just a thicker version.

We want you to love your purchase! If you're not completely satisfied, you can return your order within 14 days. Just make sure the items are unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging with tags attached. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on underwear or sale, or custom-made items.
Size Guide
Our leggings come in multiple sizes: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL up to 8XL for our bigger sisters.
A good rule of thumb is to order a smaller size if you are in-between sizes. As our leggings sizes are USA-based, our legging sizes are generous and do not fall small. Please send us your height and weight when you place an order. That way you can be certain that you'll receive a perfectly snug-fitted leggings.
Finding the best fit
To find the best fit, please add your weight and height when you place an order. That way we can make sure that you’ll receive a close but not restrictive fitted legging.
Deciding on the cut
If needed, we can also tailor to your preference. Most of our leggings are ready to send in a medium-high waistline and in 2 leg lengths.
Now the super high waist leggings are very popular and our new prints are mostly made in the super high waist.
If you prefer a different cut like a high-, mid- or low-waisted legging, please let us know in the comment section when you place an order with us. That we can make sure you get your favorite cut. Special orders do will take longer and come with an extra charge of 10 euro.
Deciding on the inseam
The inseam is the length of your inner leg. From the top of the inner thigh to the ankle. If you are up to 1,72 meter, opt for the 'normal' inseam. If you are taller then 1,73 meter, then opt for the long inseam. For the ones in between, depending if you like your leggings longer, over your ankle or just above it.

How to take care of your legging?
As our leggings are made from the highest quality cotton elastane, you’ll find that our leggings last a long time. You can just pop your leggings inside-out in your washing machine up to 40 degrees and hang them out to dry, preferable in the shadow. However, do not tumble dry them unless you want them to shrink a little, then you can do it once. Elastane does not mix well with the heat of the dryer.
